LMS app

WEBSITE CONTENT REDESIGN

background

In August 2018, I worked with a talent development agency headquartered in Northwest Arkansas. Among the different product offerings was its flagship product, a next-generation learning management application (LMS).

My first product marketing initiative was to evolve the application's website—design, content, and brand identity—optimizing for desktop and mobile.

Although the original site iteration explained the what behind the application, it lacked the compelling why and how to attract new customers. I worked to create a voice that was not only friendly and smart, but representative of the LMS—simple and forward-thinking.

OBJECTIVES

  • Click-to-call option

  • Design/UX enhancements

  • Navigation menu for customer login

  • SEO improvements

  • Storytelling and visual aids

  • Testimonials

role

Given limited resourcing and time, it was my responsibility to lead the creative development of all content on the application's website while keeping the project timeline on track. This involved working with our executive leadership team, in-house designer, customer champions, and other stakeholders to push the project over the finish line.

Key roles: creative director, project manager, marketing strategist, copywriter, copyeditor, and producer.
